Havent actually written in this in a long time, and im procrastinating from writing an essay so...
This past weekend was club fencing nationals. I fenced the best I have ever fenced, and won 7 out of 8 bouts the first day. I almost made it to the individual pools, which would have been a cool accomplishment, but the C strip fencer from army won 7 out of 8 of her bouts too, and she had more touches overall. Its a bit annoying to miss out, especially when I won the bout against her, but she is definately at least my equal, so I don't really feel upset about it. Both of the other girls on my team made it too, which was excellent. We were ranked 4th, and placed 5th overall at the end of the weekend. I've decided that the key to improving what I currently know is the be more aggressive and self-confident. Thats my goal for the rest of the semester in practice.
Also big news, I learned that I'm moving to Bedford. My family just bought a house, next door to Peters mom, and we will definitely be moving at some point this summer. I will miss summer on the Cape, but this house is closer to school and Boston, so I can possibly work in a really good hospital for my OT stuff!
Im very glad to be back in my room, and to see Felicity! but there is a small part of me that is missing the nice weather and 107.1 - mexican polka from Indiana.
Ok, back to the paper writing...

well, its been awhile.
not too much exciting in my life right now. except for me being busier than i remembered. oh well. I have something due each week until thanksgiving, but no really overwhelming weeks it looks like.
work is working out well, but i work 1 1/2 hours daily, so it feels like im there more than i am.
yeah. im really just procrastinating from finishing my stats assignment. I guess its time to get back to that

Well, first day of classes went well, i like 2 out of 3 of them... art history tomorrow at 11
the id/dining office lost my file. well, it got corrupted over the summer, apparently. anyways, what that translated down to was me standing in a line forever, and then having to re-scan my hand into the system. but i finally get to eat at the lovely holloway commons. yey?
well, i have a job interview and class tomorrow, so im gonna go watch moonlight becomes you, and go to bed.

10:47 am - Back to school...

Well, im too lazy to write about what i did all summer, mostly just working at friendly's and cts and babysitting. I did finally officially quit christmas tree after three years of employment! I didnt get to see anyone really all summer, unless they happened to go to work to see me...
yeah, thats about it. Christina visited in may, Sue in july, and Zubes in August. Brian came down on occassion too, and my cousins stayed over some weekends.
So yeah, i dunno. im done for now.

Well, i realized that i havent updated since returning to the states, so here goes.
I went up to unh after i got off the plane, which was a lot of fun. I got to surprise my roommates (who didnt expect me until the following night) and i got to go to fencing practice on monday! not to mention that they threw me an amazing welcome home party! :)
after that i went back to falmouth and started working at christmas tree again. boo. but i got a job at friendlys recently, and only have a week and a half left at christmas tree. :) so after 3 years ill finally be leaving. and hopefully making more money too! we'll see...
I went to a concert with chelsea last thursday. It rocked. we saw the academy is... and ok go. both of which were excellent. however, we also saw mc lars. he was practically vanilla ice reincarnate (aka white bad rapper) and he rapped a version of edgar allen poes 'the raven'. It starts with 'EAP in the house', and just gets worse from there. I will probably keep the song just to prove to people that such a monstrosity truly exists. but then we saw okgo and tai and everything was better. not to mention we had an interesting fiesta x2 the night before.
ok, now everyone knows what ive been up to. well, for the most part...

well, my first of 2 finals is out of the way, but the harder one is tomorrow. So we'll see how it goes after that. I was a lazy bum yesterday and did nothing except the dress rehearsal for my acting thing.
I have about £95 left on my mealplan, with 5 days to use it. haha. and thats after giving £50 of my last top up away. im trying to use as much of it as i can on chocolate to bring home! cadbury twists in particular. and probably some blueberry muffins :)
Any final English requests? leave them here and i will try my best. And sorry, no english men, im paying for an extra bag as it is! haha

I'll be back in one week! :)
I went to Calais yesterday, that was fun, we met some interesting people on the rides there and back, mostly british actually. Calais was beautiful, a lot better than i thought it would be. I was expecting a port town, I got a cute french town with ::gasp!:: friendly french people! that speak english!
Today i saw into the woods in Derby. Honestly, the best part of the trip was this discount market there that sold cheap cadbury products, and polo mints 10 for £1!!!!
we went to the roadhouse tonight, almost everyone that is, since christina and sarah are in ireland. it was fun, but the band was lousy, so we left after they started playing.
no plans for tomorrow, i guess we'll wait and see... :)

Spain was fun. somewhat relaxing. and pretty damn warm :)
they had a cool store full of replica swords! i was so tempted to buy something.
I have passed in all my papers for the semester, all i have left are a couple finals (all jokes) and our final acting performance next week, then im free to travel in the uk until the 7th, when i come home!
well, im off, cuz its midnight, and i have a busy day tomorrow

7:04 pm - Easter Weekend

So this weekend it was just me jen and christina around campus out of our group. It was fun though. Jen and I went to Dover on friday, and we explored the underground secret tunnels!!! well, i suppose they arent secrets anymore since they are on the map of the castle you get when you pay admission... but they were still cool! And Dover is a nice town. Good italian restaurants actually...
We also decided we are going to go back, so we can take a day trip to france (Calais), maybe in a week friday. We spent the rest of the weekend with christina, her sister, and her sisters fiance. It was an awesome weekend. And they are great people. So we had a great time :)
Um, so now im left to write papers today. dunno how well this will work. I have 1000 words for my 4000 word paper, and havent started my character analysis that is due tomorrow. tonight will be a late night.

saw embers the other night. it has jeremy irons in it (scar from the lion king) he was pretty good, it was an engrossing story.
i dropped a class. i feel like im giving up, which i suppose is true. oh well, im happier without it.
umm... i walked/jogged around the park today. it was fun. i saw an anteater :)
im excited to mail felicitys present tomorrow!
I will be home in exactly a month! I cant wait to see everyone again! I have definately begun to miss certain people :)

4:41 pm - weekends!

well, i thought i was going to be all alone this weekend, but jens fLight was cancelled, so she was stuck here with me! :)
we went to a man for all seasons friday night. We got front row seats, and the play was excellent. I could see the actors actually crying during the scene where his family visits him at the tower. It was very moving. and there was a guy next to us who was canadian and he kept talking to us about everything. he was here for the week on business and i think he was starved for human contact.
on the way back we took the bus, and there were these 3 juvenile delinqents on the bus with us, and as we get on, they lit a piece of paper on fire! so the driver takes out a fire exstinguisher and yells at them while waving it menecingly, and threatens to call the fire police. so that was fun. and the kids were calling him horrible names the whole time.
saturday we went to the zoo! it was so much fun. we saw otters, and the new into africa exhibit, and the aquarium and tigers and hippoes and camels and cow! they have a cow! at the zoo. its great. and a skunk! apparently they dont have skunks here.
today we went to the ice age 2 premiere, and we saw lee ryan. hes some brit pop star, but hes pretty hot. so we took pictures anyways. :) it was fun at least, even if we didnt see anyone we recognized.
